Philosophy
|
In today's China, Traditional
Chinese Medicine (tcm) and
Western Medicine work harmoniously
towards the common goal of
health and wellness for the
patient. This is also the
philosophy I bring to my practice.
TCM works best as a preventative
measure to keep the body's
energies and systems in balance
before illness develops. The
old saying, "a good Chinese
doctor has no sick patients,"
suggests a skilled practitioner
working with a patient to
prevent illness. In my practice
I integrate Acupuncture and
Herbal Formulas with patient
education so that the individual
becomes instrumental in their
own health. I strongly encourage
my patients to take an active
role in their health care
and I help them to achieve
small obtainable lifestyle
changes that can bring long
term health benefits. |
